Parameters

| author | Yes | Author(s) of the article. |
| title | Yes | Title of the journal article. |
| journal | Yes | Name of the journal. |
| volume | No | Journal volume. |
| issue | No | Journal issue number. |
| pages | No | Page range. |
| year | Yes | Year of publication. |
| doi | No | DOI (include the leading text, e.g. "DOI: 10.1234/example"). |
| url | No | Online version (include the leading space and link, e.g. " Online"). |
| access-date | No | Access date (include the leading text, e.g. " Retrieved 2 July 2026."). |
